Research Priorities

Norelkco has set the following as research priorities for the next few years:

1. Assess and improve the efficacy of velvet-antler based products for joint health and treatment of osteoarthritis symptoms in dogs and cats.

2. Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of products to speed recovery and healing of injuries, wounds and surgical interventions.

3. Assess and improve the effectiveness of products to retard and compensate for the effects of aging in pets. 

4. Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of velvet-antler based products to enhance the immune system and reduce allergy symptoms. 

5. Develop and evaluate natural products for coat/skin health, enhanced performance/stamina, reduced hyperactivity, and weight loss.

6. Identify and understand the critical ingredients in velvet antler responsible for various health benefits.

7. Develop analytical tools and markers to measure the consistency and quality of the the key ingredients in velvet antler.

Researchers Wanted

Norelkco is seeking to develop partnerships with veterinary medicine colleges, veterinarians and private researchers who have an interest and capability to undertake R&D projects.
